A naturopathic assessment is more than just a diagnosis. Instead, it evaluates a patient’s current condition, including health risks, determines the vitality of the patient, and causal factors that initiated or aggravated their conditions.
It includes a 60–90 minute intake of your history, presenting symptoms, a thorough physical exam, tongue analysis, and assessment of food sensitivities. The Naturopathic Doctor will determine if extended testing is needed from an outside lab, including checking for hormone imbalances, heavy metals, essential vitamin and mineral imbalances. These assessments help to determine a patient’s current condition, associated health risks, or aid in determining the progression of a disease.
Naturopathic assessments help to better identify the cause of illness or disease, and help to assess an individual’s healing potential.
